Kelsey Joudrey Vice-President, Co-Captain

Kelsey is a Bachelors of Science and Nursing student looking forward to being a RN. She has been working with horses ever since her passion started as a 6 year old. She started off in the Trillium circuit Hunter ring and recently made her way to the Jumper ring with her horse Robin. This is her second year on the OCEA and first year as co-captain. She is looking forward to another awesome year with some amazing people

Cassandra Jarvis President, Team Representative

Cassandra is returning to Osgoode Hall for her second year of law school. Prior to that she completed her M.A. in English Literature at U of T, and B.A. (Hons) at York in the same field. Cassandra served as Vice-President of the Equestrian Club last year, and competed on the OCEA circuit for the past three years, first at the Intermediate level where she finished the 2016 year as Division, Zone, and Circuit Champion, and then at the Open level, finishing 7th in the division in 2017. Along with that experience, she brings ten years of riding on the OHJA ‘A’ circuit with great successes in hunters and equitation.

Marissa Sputore Co-Captain

Marissa Sputore is now entering into her fourth year at York University studying a bachelor of science in Psychology. She is in hopes of entering a Masters program in the near future when she finishes her degree. Marissa has been a part of the York Equestrian Club and Team last year competing in the OCEA's Novice division, finishing reserve champion overall in central zone. Taking on the role as co-caption with Kelsey Joudrey, she is dedicated to sharing and ensuring that her positive experience competing on the OCEA will be the same for her fellow teammates as well!

Andrew Carenza Designer

Andrew will be entering his fourth and final year at York and Sheridan College’s joint program in Graphic Design, bringing experience in both print and digital media to his role as Designer. Andrew has been riding recreationally since he was seven, showing for the first time in the OCEA’s Novice Division, finishing top 10 each year. He is passionate about horsemanship.
